Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Visits Dairy Farm in Beyarmudu Village

The visit included a briefing by the Diameter Veterinary Counseling Services team, which consists of Animal Nutrition and Nutrition Diseases Specialist Veterinary Surgeon Necat Akmal, Veterinary Surgeon Erdogan Capli, and Veterinary Surgeon Salih Nalci. The team highlighted the high efficiency of the farm and shared details about the innovative systems in place.

Among the innovations mentioned by the veterinarians were the fan system, herd tracking system, indoor system farm model, automatic stripping system, lock system, and automatic watering system. Additionally, the farm has adopted artificial insemination using Montbeliarde sperm, with investigations being conducted on the efficiency of these animals.

In terms of nutrition, the farm presented various coarse feed and silage samples, showcasing studies on the impact of low-cut feed and a wide variety of coarse feed applications on productivity. Minister Çavuş commended the efforts being made to increase productivity in the livestock sector and expressed gratitude to the farmers and experts who are contributing to the sector’s development.
