AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik criticizes CHP Deputy Chairman for calling on retired soldiers
In a recent statement on his social media account, AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik expressed his disapproval of CHP Deputy Chairman Yankı Bağcıoğlu’s call for retired soldiers to take action in order to influence the disciplinary mechanism of the Ministry of National Defense. Çelik labeled this approach as irresponsible and lacking in foresight.
Despite being a retired soldier himself, Bağcıoğlu now holds a political position as the vice chairman of a political party. Çelik emphasized that the call made by Bağcıoğlu has a clear political nature and should not involve retired soldiers in such activities. Çelik stated that expressing political views is one thing, but attempting to influence military mechanisms through retired soldiers is completely unacceptable.
