Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Italy Meets with Diplomatic Advisor to President of Italian Republic
On February 25th, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Italy, T. Komekov, had a meeting with Fabio Cassese, the Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the Italian Republic, at the Quirinal Palace. During the meeting, a special invitation was extended to F. Cassese on behalf of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, inviting the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, to the upcoming International Forum. This forum is in celebration of the proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality.
In addition to extending the invitation, the parties also discussed various current issues related to bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Italy. This cooperation spans across the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, reflecting the strong and enduring relationship between the two countries.
The meeting between Ambassador T. Komekov and Fabio Cassese was a positive step towards mutual understanding and collaboration between Turkmenistan and Italy. It highlighted the importance of strengthening ties and working together towards shared goals of peace and trust.
