Announcement of Season One Winners for the 2025 Initiative Budget
The results of the first season of the “Initiative Budget” 2025 have been announced, with the winning projects revealed on the “Open Budget” portal. The Ministry of Economy and Finance reported that a total of 10.45 million votes were cast across the country during the voting process.
After the voting concluded, 2,369 projects with a total value of 3.2 trillion UZS were selected as winners. However, concerns were raised in the Kuva district where citizens were reportedly forced to participate in mandatory vote collection. An investigation is currently underway to determine the impact of forced voting on projects in this district, and the winners will be announced separately at a later date.
The ministry expressed its appreciation to all citizens who took part in the voting process and encouraged them to continue participating actively in future seasons of the “Initiative Budget” initiative. Stay tuned for further updates on the winning projects and the progress of the initiative.
