Fire Breaks Out in Apartment in Kütahya
A fire broke out on the third floor of an apartment in the 100th Anniversary neighborhood in Kütahya for reasons yet unknown. The incident triggered a swift response from a large number of firefighters, health, and police teams who were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, police teams quickly took action to evacuate citizens and their pets from the building which had become stranded amid the smoke that was rapidly spreading. The efforts to keep the situation under control were captured in a dramatic photo showing the intensity of the fire.
Municipality firefighters from Kütahya managed to intervene and extinguish the fire after a brief but intensive operation. However, 5 individuals were affected by the smoke and promptly attended to by the 112 Emergency medical teams who transferred them to Kütahya City Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
