
Apple launches affordable iPhone 16e Orient

Apple unveiled its latest addition to the iPhone lineup on February 19, 2025 – the iPhone 16e. Positioned as a more budget-friendly option compared to the standard iPhone 16, the iPhone 16e comes with a price tag of $599, succeeding the iPhone SE which was released in 2022 for $430.
Sporting a design reminiscent of the iPhone 14, the iPhone 16e is equipped with the new A18 chip, delivering an impressive 80% increase in performance compared to the A13 Bionic chip found in the iPhone 11.
One of the standout features of the iPhone 16e is its C1 modem, marking Apple’s first foray into designing cellular modems. This modem is touted as the most energy-efficient ever included in an iPhone, ensuring swift and reliable 5G connectivity.
The smartphone also boasts a 6.1-inch OLED display and enhanced camera capabilities, featuring a 48-megapixel sensor. Apple promises top-notch photography thanks to its advanced algorithms, with 2x lossless zoom and support for 4K video recording at 60 frames per second.
Battery life has seen a significant improvement, offering users up to 26 hours of video playback. The iPhone 16e comes packed with all the AI features seen in its higher-end counterparts, including tools like Clean Up for photo editing and natural language search in the Photos app.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 16e will kick off on February 21st, with the smartphone hitting stores on February 28th, 2025. Apple enthusiasts can look forward to getting their hands on this new device with its cutting-edge features and more accessible price point.
