Drivers arrested after beating man in road rage incident
Three drivers were arrested in Afyonkarahisar after a road rage incident escalated into a physical fight. The altercation began when the drivers of two cars argued about yielding on the road to the entrance of the 1st Industrial Site. The argument turned violent when traffic stopped, and BK (43), BK (19), and İ.K. (21) exited their car and attacked SB (27), the driver of the other vehicle.
According to witnesses, the three assailants took SB out of the car window and beat him with kicks, punches, and sticks. A passerby recorded the violent altercation on their mobile phone, capturing the moment when the attackers beat SB and then fled the scene upon hearing a police siren.
The Afyonkarahisar Police Department launched an investigation into the incident and quickly apprehended the suspects. In their initial statements, the three attackers claimed that they assaulted SB because he had cursed at them after being warned for improper lane changing.
BK, BK, and İ.K. were taken into custody and later brought to court, where they were subsequently arrested by the criminal judgeship of peace. The incident serves as a reminder of the dangers of road rage and the importance of maintaining composure while driving.
