“Asman Construction slated to start in late June, announces Sadyr Japarov”
Kyrgyzstan’s President, Sadyr Japarov, has announced that construction on the Asman City project in the Issyk-Kul region will begin on June 30th this year. During the opening ceremony of a new park, President Japarov confirmed that the project of the future city is ready, and that the city will be designed to house 500,000-700,000 residents.
The President stated that Asman City will be built by external investors and will not cost Kyrgyzstan a single tyiyn. He urged the country’s adult generation to encourage the youth not to ask investors for money. The President’s comments were aimed at preventing incidents where someone asks for a million dollars for their approval of the city’s construction.
Asman City is set to become Kyrgyzstan’s newest metropolis and is expected to bring new investment and job opportunities to the area.
