Adyghe State University Diplomas Now Recognized in Turkmenistan

Adyghe State University (ASU) has recently received recognition in Turkmenistan, as the Ministry of Education in the country has approved a list of educational institutions whose diplomas are now accepted for nostrification. ASU is one of 45 Russian universities included in this list, which contains over 1,500 universities worldwide.

This marks the first time that ASU has been added to the list, showcasing the university’s dedication to building strong relationships with Turkmenistan. Since 2011, ASU has actively collaborated with Turkmenistan, with over 2,000 Turkmen students graduating from the university during this period. In 2016, ASU even saw the establishment of the first officially registered association of Turkmen students, highlighting the close ties between the university and the country.

Currently, ASU hosts approximately 1,600 international students from 43 different countries, with a significant number of them, over 1,300, hailing from Turkmenistan. This recognition further solidifies ASU’s reputation as a top educational institution that attracts students from around the globe.
