In response to the attack, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement condemning the act of violence. Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Öncü Keçeli confirmed the incident and assured that no casualties or damage to property occurred during the attack. Keçeli also mentioned that an investigation is ongoing to identify and bring the perpetrators to justice.

Furthermore, Keçeli stated that the Iraqi officials have been in constant communication with Turkish authorities to ensure the safety and security of Iraq’s diplomatic missions in Ankara, Istanbul, and Gaziantep.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends its condolences to the Iraqi people and assures that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure the safety of diplomatic missions in Turkey.
