Turkmenistan to Introduce Environmentally Friendly Reagent AUS-32 “BK Blue” at Filling Stations
In an effort to reduce harmful emissions from diesel engines, Turkmenistan is planning to introduce the liquid reagent AUS-32 “BK blue” at filling stations located along the country’s highways. This initiative was announced by representatives of the individual enterprise “Bir Kuwwat” during an exhibition commemorating the 17th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The project, spearheaded by IE “Bir Kuwwat,” aims to mitigate the negative impact of freight transport on the environment and enhance the ecological situation in the country. The enterprise is currently in talks with relevant government agencies to implement this initiative at filling stations situated along Turkmenistan’s key transport routes.
AUS-32, also known as “AdBlue” in Europe, is utilized in the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system to reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) in exhaust gases by up to 90%, aligning with strict environmental standards such as Euro IV, V, and VI.
IE “Bir Kuwwat” is the first in Turkmenistan to produce this environmentally friendly reagent under the brand “BK Blue,” with a production plant located in the Akhal velayat established in collaboration with the Turkish company EndülüsKrom. The plant currently manufactures up to 4,000 tons of products per month.
Not only does the enterprise meet domestic demand, but it also plans to export AUS-32 to neighboring countries. Furthermore, “Bir Kuwwat” produces antifreeze (G11 and G12 grades) and distilled water, catering to the needs of both the transport sector and households.
The implementation of modern, environmentally friendly technologies like AUS-32 underscores Turkmenistan’s commitment to achieving national environmental objectives, including zero growth in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and substantial reductions thereafter.
