Azerbaijan Showcases Culture in Turkmenistan Eco-Campaign
The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan recently participated in the “World Cuisine” competition held at the Berzengi sanatorium as part of a nationwide tree planting campaign. Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the event saw the participation of diplomatic missions from various countries and international organizations.
The Azerbaijani stand at the competition received a lot of attention from guests and participants. Visitors had the opportunity to explore samples of Azerbaijan’s national cuisine, reflecting the country’s rich traditions, as well as admire decorative art products and elements of the Novruz spring holiday. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, along with officials, also visited the Azerbaijani exposition.
Representatives from the Azerbaijan Embassy shared insights about the significance of the Novruz holiday, which symbolizes world peace, friendship, and unity – values that were echoed in the spirit of international cooperation at the event. The Embassy was recognized with a certificate for its exceptional participation, acknowledging the vibrant presentation of Azerbaijani culture.
The “World Cuisine” competition, held in conjunction with environmental initiatives, served as a platform for cultural exchange and the strengthening of friendly ties between Turkmenistan and other nations. Azerbaijan’s involvement underscored the close relations and shared cultural traditions between the two countries, particularly in the context of the Novruz celebrations.
