Azerbaijani Political Parties’ Delegation Visits Newly Liberated Territories
Representatives of various political parties, political scientists, heads of internet TV channels, newspaper editors, and journalists recently embarked on a visit to Khankandi, Khojaly, and Asgaran in Azerbaijan. The purpose of the visit was to tour significant landmarks and observe the progress of various projects in the region.
During the visit, the participants had the opportunity to explore the Asgaran Fortress complex and witness the construction of a memorial dedicated to the victims of the Khojaly genocide. They also visited the village of Ballija in the Khojaly district to learn about the restoration work taking place on private houses and infrastructure. Additionally, the group made a stop at Victory Square in Khankandi.
This visit is part of a series of joint visits organized by the Presidential Administration to promote healthy political dialogue in Azerbaijan. Previous visits have taken politicians to Aghdam, Shusha (twice), and Zangilan. These visits aim to strengthen political relations in the country and foster cooperation among different parties and political figures.
The latest visit to Khankandi, Khojaly, and Asgaran marks the fifth in this series of joint visits. The initiative was initiated by President Ilham Aliyev to encourage collaboration and communication among political leaders and experts in Azerbaijan.
