Bahceli defends President Erdogan against The Economist’s criticism
Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahceli addressed his party’s Army rally and made important statements regarding the upcoming Presidential and parliamentary elections on May 14, 2013.
Bahceli highlighted that the Turkish nation will decide on Turkey’s upcoming century at the ballot box and expressed his belief that the army will do what is necessary. He also warned against dark forces and dishonest assemblers who are trying to slander the upcoming elections but assured that they would not be able to prevent the victory of the Turkish nation.
Bahceli called on citizens to be ready for the Presidency and parliamentary elections and to show their support for their army deputies and their presidential candidate, Mr. Erdogan. He also warned against the CHP and IYI Party, who he claims have gone astray and are poisoning by taking Kandil and Pennsylvania with them.
Bahceli spoke about the importance of the Presidential government system, stating that it is a vital step for the survival of the Turkish nation, especially in cases where it’s necessary to take immediate corrective measures.
Bahceli expressed his gratitude towards attendees, saying that it is the unity and brotherhood of the Turkish nation that will help them overcome problems together. He emphasized the importance of the People’s Alliance, stating that their goal is to develop a national strategy in every field, in hopes of making Turkey a superpower by 2053.
