Balkan Influence Brings Cool and Rainy Weather to Turkey Today
The General Directorate of Meteorology has released the latest evaluations for the weather in Turkey. According to the report, the northern, central and western parts of the country are expected to be partly and very cloudy. The south and east of Marmara, the Northern and Coastal Aegean, the northwest of Central Anatolia, the Black Sea, Tekirdağ, Kırşehir and Yozgat surroundings, and Hatay are also expected to experience similar cloudy conditions.
Coastal areas of the country are forecasted to experience local showers and occasionally thunderstorms, while other places will be slightly cloudy and clear. Heavy rainfall is expected in places along the Northern Aegean coasts, the Black Sea coasts (except Sinop), and around Istanbul, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Yalova, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, and Manisa.
