Bandırmaspor urges TFF to ease the conscience of millions after Palabıyık decision
Referee Ali Palabıyık Suspended by Turkish Football Federation
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has announced that referee Ali Palabıyık will not be given a match until the end of the season. The decision comes after the match between Altınordu and Bandırmaspor ended in a 3-3 draw, with Palabıyık facing criticism for his management of the game.
The TFF released a statement saying that after reviewing the match and VAR records, they decided not to assign Palabıyık for the remainder of the season due to his insufficient performance.

Bandırmaspor Club went on to say that Palabıyık’s removal from Turkish football was necessary, stating, “As Bandırmaspor Club, we demand…that the match be replayed at the end of the season to relieve the conscience of millions, or that the match be replayed from the 81st minute when the critical wrong decision was made.”
While the TFF has suspended Palabıyık for the rest of the season, it remains to be seen whether they will heed Bandırmaspor Club’s demands for a replay or correction of the match.
