Following the rescue operation, the cleaning process at the flooded industrial site commenced. Bartın Governor Nurtaç Arslan, AK Party Bartın Deputy Yusuf Ziya Aldatmaz, and Mayor Hüseyin Fahri Fırıncıoğlu monitored the progress of the cleaning efforts alongside the ministers.

Minister Tunç and Minister Yerlikaya visited the region to evaluate the extent of the flood disaster personally. Minister Yerlikaya shared on his official Twitter account that they traveled to Bartın via land with Minister Tunç. He expressed his heartfelt wishes to all citizens affected by the flood and assured the public that the necessary measures and resources were in place to aid those in need. He confirmed that 23 citizens were rescued by helicopter, while an additional 73 citizens were rescued by boats and construction equipment.

Furthermore, Minister Yerlikaya warned the public to remain cautious as the heavy rain was expected to persist until the morning hours. He accompanied his message with images of the ongoing rescue efforts, emphasizing the importance of heeding warnings and taking necessary precautions.

Minister Tunç also conveyed his well wishes to the victims of the flood disaster in Bartın and surrounding provinces through social media. He assured the affected citizens that all available resources were mobilized under the coordination of AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Authority). He stated that air and land interventions were ongoing to rescue the trapped citizens, emphasizing the government’s commitment to safeguarding the citizens from any harm.
