The 9th Ordinary General Assembly of the News Cameramen Association was held today.

In the general assembly, the new board of directors of the association and the supervisory and honorary boards were determined. Accordingly, the new board of directors was composed of Suad Suiçmez, Tarkan Kavaz, Kemal Yürekli, Mustafa Sarpten, Rafet Çelik and alternate members Orhan Bayraktar and Metehan Azizoğlu.

While Hüseyin Karahüseyin, Mühlet Kulaç and Raziye Dağda were elected to the Supervisory Board, Kemal Gökdel and Hakan Dervişoğlu took part in the Honorary Board.

Plaques were given to those who completed their 25th year in service at the general assembly held at the Journalists Union locality in Nicosia. In the general assembly, the speech of the President of the Association, Tarkan Kavaz, took place after the establishment of the presidential council. He was later cleared by reading the activity and financial reports.

News Cameramen Association, the new board of directors will meet in the coming days to determine the chairman and the distribution of duties.
