Speaking at the handover ceremony, Ziya Öztürkler talked about the projects they carried out by stating that he was serving as the Minister of Interior for 15 years.

Öztürkler stated that they carried out many serious projects such as Municipal Reform, Social Housing Projects, Public Peace and Security and said, “As the government, we continue to fight on the right basis as much as we can.”

Öztürkler, who said that they continued their struggle to serve the public until the last day, said that the projects would continue.

Öztürkler said, “My conscience is clear. UBP is a big party, they are a relay race, a duty race. While we were elected, we aspired to these duties in order to work in the parliament in order to serve the nation, to serve the laws, bylaws and projects that will pave the way for the country. At the discretion of the Prime Minister, I served as the Minister of Interior for about 15 months, and again with the approval of the Prime Minister, we will continue to work at UBP as a deputy.”

Öztürkler wished both the country and Dursun Oğuz good luck and thanked all his colleagues.

Minister of Interior Dursun Oğuz stated that they set out to serve the country and said that it is their duty to finalize the unfinished projects.
