Body of missing man found on Kısırkaya Beach
A tragic incident unfolded at Kısırkaya Beach in Sarıyer as two friends, Ersin Oral (36) and Mustafa Günay (40), disappeared in the sea after being swept away by the current. In a heroic attempt to save them, Recep Kurban also went into the sea but sadly met the same fate and disappeared under the waves.
The Gendarmerie search and rescue teams were alerted and arrived at the scene, eventually locating the lifeless body of Recep Kurban. Despite extensive efforts by the Coast Guard, AFAD, and Gendarmerie Search and Rescue Teams, Ersin Oral remained missing. Fortunately, Mustafa Günay, who was in danger of drowning, was rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment.
In a devastating turn of events, the lifeless body of Ersin Oral, a married man and father of one, was discovered during the ongoing search efforts in the morning. Following the necessary investigative work at the scene, his body was transferred to the hospital morgue and then to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.
