Pamukkale, the “white paradise” in Denizli, experiences a busy weekend with an influx of visitors eager to explore its world-famous travertines, thermal waters, and historical sites. The first weekend of the new year attracts tourists from all over who come to witness the unique beauty of Pamukkale.
Visitors can be seen walking on the travertines, taking photos, and enjoying the ancient pool, whose temperature remains a warm 36 degrees in both summer and winter. Burcu Demir, a visitor from Bursa, expressed her admiration for Pamukkale, stating, “This is a very unique place. I did not know it was this beautiful. My friends and I liked this place very much, we took a lot of photos. It was also very enjoyable to walk on the travertines.”
Mehmet Ali Akpınar, another visitor, described Pamukkale as a magnificent place that was worth the trip from Istanbul with his family. “We will stay here for 2 days. We devoted one day only to Pamukkale travertines and the Ancient City of Hierapolis. We want to visit and see all the historical and natural beauties,” he said.
