Famagusta Municipality Çamlıkspor Wins Men’s Volleyball Championship in “Rauf Denktaş Cup”
The traditional “Rauf Denktaş Cup” concluded with the announcement of the men’s champion, as Famagusta Municipality Çamlıkspor emerged victorious, beating Vakıflar 3-0 in the final match.
The 12th edition of the volleyball tournament saw the men’s final take place at Nicosia Atatürk Sports Hall, where Famagusta Municipality Çamlıkspor clinched the First Place Cup in a convincing victory over Vakıflar.
The championship ceremony, held after the final match, saw Ender Denktaş Vangöl, daughter of Founding President Rauf Denktaş, present the cups and medals to the two competing teams. It was a proud moment for Famagusta Municipality Çamlıkspor as they celebrated their well-deserved victory.
In addition to the men’s championship, the tournament also saw Eastern Mediterranean University emerge as the women’s champions, adding to the excitement and competitive spirit of the event.
