Kyrgyzstan and Turkey Collaborate to Enhance Bilateral Transportation

Amendments to international automobile route agreement signed between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey
On February 14, 2024, in Bishkek, a protocol on amendments to the agreement on the international automobile route between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey was signed. The decision was made at the 11th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission, as reported by the Ministry of Transport.
The signing of these amendments will provide road carriers of both countries with advantages in bilateral and transit transportation of goods from Kyrgyzstan to Turkey and vice versa, without the need to obtain international permit forms.
The Ministry of Transport described this event as a historic achievement, particularly in the transportation industry, and expects it to contribute to the growth of trade between the two states.
This development is seen as a positive step in strengthening the economic ties between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, and is likely to have a significant impact on the transportation and trade sectors in both countries.
