Cappadocia’s Balloons Soar Over Serbia with N-Life

Cappadocia’s Famous Balloons Now Flying in Serbia

The tourism relationship between Turkey and Serbia continues to grow, with the introduction of Cappadocia’s famous hot air balloons in the Serbian skies. Turkey’s Ambassador to Belgrade, Hami Aksoy, announced that tours with the balloons began in the northern city of Indjija.

“Our pilots from Cappadocia fly the balloons, and our country’s cooperation with Serbia in the field of tourism is at the summit point,” said Aksoy. He added that increasing investments in tourism would further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.

Flight instructor Murat Çoban expressed his pride at the opportunity to bring Cappadocia’s balloons to Serbia, after previously launching them in Turkey, the TRNC, and the UAE. Çoban noted that the pilots were Turkish and were eager to serve in a new country.

According to Indjija Municipality Tourism Office, the aim is to fly 100 thousand people each year with the seven balloons from Cappadocia. Flights are scheduled for weekdays at 7 pm and earlier on weekends from Indjija, which is only an hour away from Belgrade.

With the hot air balloons of Cappadocia now soaring over Serbia’s skies, the tourism industry between the two countries is expected to flourish.
