A chain accident involving 15 vehicles leaves 5 injured in Istanbul
An accident involving 15 vehicles occurred at around 18.30 on the side road of the Sultanbeyli district in Istanbul. The cause of the accident was due to oil spilled on the road, causing the vehicles to slip and collide with each other. As a result, 5 individuals were injured and immediately attended to by police and medical teams who were dispatched to the scene.
The injured individuals were quickly taken to the hospital for further medical treatment. Following the accident, police enforced security measures while aerial views were taken of the vehicles involved in the accident.
According to witness Dündar Açıkgöz, the accident was caused by oil spilled from a vehicle on the road, leading to a chain reaction of collisions involving approximately 15 vehicles.
