
Chinese Company Set to Launch Robot Manufacturing in Kazakhstan

AgiBot, a Chinese company known for its advancements in robotics and artificial intelligence, has revealed plans to establish a humanoid robot manufacturing facility in Kazakhstan. This strategic move was announced by Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry.
In this new partnership, AgiBot will set up a joint venture that will focus on producing and deploying robots, as well as developing innovative AI solutions. The project also includes the creation of a “data factory” aimed at training robots and enhancing the quality and efficiency of their operations. Collaborating with Kazakhstani universities, the company aims to equip specialists in robotics and AI with the necessary skills.
Founded in February 2023, AgiBot has quickly made a name for itself as a developer of versatile robots that are at the forefront of robotics and AI technologies. By December 2024, the company had successfully manufactured 1,000 robots at its Shanghai factory, showcasing its strong manufacturing capabilities. Kazakhstan has been chosen as the first country in Central Asia for localizing production.
This initiative between AgiBot and Kazakhstan marks an important step towards technological advancement and economic growth in the region. With a focus on innovation and collaboration, this partnership is poised to shape the future of robotics and artificial intelligence.
