Closure of Public Service Centers for New Year Holiday

Public Service Centers and Passport Departments to Close for New Year Holidays in Kyrgyzstan

As the New Year approaches, Public Service Centers and passport departments throughout Kyrgyzstan will be closed from January 1 to January 7, 2024. The Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan made the announcement, stating that they will resume work on January 8.

However, there will be two exceptions. The Mini Public Service Centers in Asia Mall shopping center (Aitmatov Avenue, 3) and in Globus hypermarket (Chui Avenue) will operate on December 30 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on December 31 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Additionally, as part of a pilot project, the Public Service Center in Bishkek, located on Zhibek Zholu Avenue, will extend its hours on December 29, 2023, staying open until 8 p.m.

The Ministry of Digital Development also mentioned that appointments at Public Service Centers in the cities of Bishkek and Osh can be booked online using the Early One application.

In total, there are 36 large and 5 mini Public Service Centers in Kyrgyzstan.

Citizens are encouraged to plan their visits accordingly, taking into consideration the holiday closure and the extended hours of certain centers.
