Construction and Renovation of 54 Social Facilities in Chui Region in 2024

Bishkek, January 4, 2025 – The Chui region in Kyrgyzstan saw significant development in 2024, with the commissioning of at least 54 social facilities. The Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Kyrgyzstan in the region, Kanat Dzhumagaziev, shared this information in an interview with Ala-Too 24.

These newly built and reconstructed facilities include 3 schools, 9 kindergartens, 21 healthcare facilities, 19 sports facilities, and two social towns. A total of 1,086 billion soms were invested in these projects.

In addition to the social facilities, significant investment was also made in infrastructure development. In 2024, 1,224 billion soms were spent on paving 132.8 kilometers of roads in the region.

Another important aspect of development in the Chui region is the provision of clean water to residents. Approximately 284 million soms were allocated for clean water projects in 2024. In 2025, 17 new clean water projects will be implemented, requiring a total of 1,801 billion soms.

These developments reflect a commitment to improving the quality of life for residents of the Chui region and advancing overall infrastructure and social services in the area.
