Turkmenistan Embassy in Tokyo Hosts Cultural Forum Dedicated to Peace and Trust
On April 4th, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Tokyo, in collaboration with the Japan Council for Friendly Exchange, organized a cultural forum to mark the International Year of Peace and Trust.
Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan, Atadurdy Bayramov, highlighted the country’s foreign policy, emphasizing its commitment to positive neutrality and receiving broad support from the international community. He mentioned Turkmenistan’s active role in promoting constructive international cooperation for the greater good and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The country has put forth initiatives within the UN and other respected organizations, including the declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust.
The Ambassador expressed his appreciation to the Government of Japan for their support in strengthening the friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Japan.
Participants of the forum were able to immerse themselves in the rich cultural traditions of Turkmenistan, gaining a deeper understanding of the country’s heritage.
The event was a testament to the strong bond between Turkmenistan and Japan, showcasing a commitment to peace, trust, and international cooperation.
