Turkmenistan Prepares for a Month of Cultural Celebrations in May
During a recent session of the Cabinet of Ministers, an exciting report highlighted the rich array of cultural events planned for May 2025. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, B. Seyidova, unveiled a comprehensive program celebrating several significant national and international occasions.
May will be a vibrant month in Turkmenistan, marked by a series of conferences, creative meetings, competitions, exhibitions, and musical festivities. These events will align with the declaration of the current year as the "International Year of Peace and Trust," along with the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, Victory Day, the Day of the Constitution and the State Flag, Ashgabat City Day, and the Turkmen Carpet Holiday. Additionally, the month will wrap up with the results of previously announced creative competitions.
Among the highlighted events are the Days of Culture of the State of Libya in Turkmenistan and the international festival "Melody of Peace." Artists from France, Italy, and Turkmenistan will collaborate for joint performances at the prestigious Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Center, further fostering cultural exchange and understanding.
