Cypfruvex aims to maximize harvest productivity – BRTK

Cypfruvex General Manager Cemal Redif recently provided an update on the citrus fruit industry in an interview with BRT. According to Redif, the company has already started valencia cutting on March 31, with 17 thousand tons of product harvested so far. Some of the harvested fruits are being used for concentrate, while others are being packaged for sale.
While Redif mentioned that there are no issues with the cutting teams, he expressed concerns regarding exports. Due to problems with shipments, the company is currently unable to export their products.
To address the challenges faced by the citrus industry, Redif highlighted the importance of the cold storage project. Recently, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel signed a protocol with Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz to implement the project, which aims to support citrus production in the future.
In addition, Redif announced that the payments for the products supplied by producers to Cypfruvex will be made soon. Prime Minister Ünal Üstel is expected to make a formal statement on this matter in the coming days.
Despite the hurdles, Cypfruvex is continuing its operations at full speed. The company plans to deploy contractors to all villages to maximize product harvesting.
Overall, Cypfruvex remains committed to supporting the citrus industry and ensuring a successful harvest season.
