
Devastating Earthquake Strikes Jalal-Abad, Kyrgyzstan

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5 hit the Jalal-Abad region of Kyrgyzstan today at 7:17 a.m., as reported by the Seismology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences. The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Chatkal ridge area, specifically 10 kilometers from the village of Tegirmen-Suu, 14 kilometers from Zhylgyn village, 17 kilometers from Arkit village, 20 kilometers from Kashka-Suu village, and 25 kilometers from Kerben.
The intensity of the tremors in populated areas of the country reached magnitude 2.5, but there are currently no reports of any damage or casualties. The situation is being monitored closely, and residents are advised to stay alert and follow any safety guidelines provided by local authorities.
