A horrifying accident has taken the lives of multiple individuals as a truck crashed into an apartment building after crushing many people in its path. The chaotic scene saw people running in all directions as the truck plowed through the crowd, resulting in devastating consequences.

Among those who intervened in the incident, police officer Yahya Ergin (33) tragically lost his life, along with several others, including Bessi Bağlayan (57), İrfan Aktaş (45), Mülkiye Acar (56), Ünal Ekinci (24), Baran Açan (28), Hamit Akkoyun (82), Ahmet Aktay (30), Sıtti Abul (84), Fesih Dağ (61), Velat Dağ (45), Kemal Dağ (60), Hatip Denk (66), Necla Arda (27), İsa Ayebe (42), Baver Babur (17), and Nofa Çelik (84). Additionally, 26 people, including 6 who sustained serious injuries, were hospitalized as a result of the accidents.

The tragic incident also led to major damage to 11 vehicles and 3 workplaces. The aftermath of the accidents has left a trail of destruction and heartache for the affected individuals and their families.

The drivers of the truck, Umut Gündüz and Yunus Şataflı, were detained following the accident and have since been arrested. The case regarding the accident is ongoing, with a hearing scheduled for June 20. During the hearing, Umut Gündüz, one of the arrested drivers responsible for the second accident, was released.
