
Economists Analyze Impact of 100 Days of Government Accelerators Program

Bishkek, August 3, 2024 – The Committee for Preparation of Reforms in the Framework of Foreign Economic Cooperation with Partner Countries has recently announced the successful results of the Government Accelerators program after 100 days of implementation, with support from the United Arab Emirates. According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, the program focused on simplifying procedures for processing documents related to cargo transportation by rail.
Among the key achievements, the committee highlighted the agreement on the release of wagons (containers), the development of an electronic information system by the Kyrgyz Temir Zholu state enterprise for interdepartmental interaction, and the optimization of the work schedule for phytosanitary and veterinary services within the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry. These efforts have led to the elimination of duplicate documents and improved efficiency in handling incoming cargo.
The successful outcomes of the Government Accelerators program demonstrate a commitment to enhancing foreign economic cooperation and streamlining processes for cargo transportation in Kyrgyzstan.
