Tragic Incident in Kayabaşı District: Elderly Man Found Dead in His Home
A heartbreaking incident occurred on Engin Street in Kayabaşı District, where an elderly man named Nurçel Çetinkaya (86) was found lifeless in his home by a concerned neighbor. The neighbor, who had not heard from Çetinkaya for some time, decided to check on him and unfortunately discovered the old man motionless.
Authorities were immediately alerted, and both police and 112 Emergency Service teams rushed to the scene. Upon their arrival, medical professionals confirmed the unfortunate news that Çetinkaya had passed away.
Following necessary procedures, Çetinkaya’s body was transferred to the morgue of Karabük Training and Research Hospital. It is suspected that the elderly man had been deceased for approximately 4 days before being discovered, with the exact cause of death yet to be determined.
