Electricity Disconnections for Subscribers with Debts Exceeding 675 TL Coming on October 7th
Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (Kıb-Tek) to Cut Off Electricity for Subscribers with Unpaid Bills
The Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (Kıb-Tek) has announced that it will be cutting off the electricity of subscribers who owe more than 675 TL from September and previous months. This move is set to take place on Monday, October 7.
In a statement released by the Kıb-Tek General Directorate, it was emphasized that subscribers with outstanding debts from September 2024 and before, totaling more than 675 TL, will have their electricity disconnected. This also applies to subscribers with legal contracts who have unpaid installment debts on their accounts.
The announcement also included a plea for subscribers to settle their outstanding bills in order to avoid any disruptions to their electrical service. Failure to make the necessary payments by the given deadline could result in a loss of electricity for those affected.
It is advised that subscribers who are in arrears with their payments to Kıb-Tek take immediate action to clear their debts and avoid any inconvenience.
