Elon Musk to Abandon Mobile Communications in Favor of Social Network X
In a surprising announcement, American entrepreneur and CEO of SpaceX Elon Musk declared his intention to completely abandon mobile communications in favor of the social network X. The billionaire stated, “In a few months, I will turn off my phone number and use only X for correspondence and audio and video calls,” on his page on the social network X.
Musk had previously hinted at his plans to transition to the social network X, which was formerly known as Twitter before he closed the deal to purchase it. He discussed his aspirations to transform the microblogging platform into an application similar to the Chinese app WeChat. This decision has now come to fruition, with the recent addition of audio and video communication functions to the iOS and Android versions of the app.
