Erdogan threatens PKK with reference to national support.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited Mersin after his Kayseri meeting and addressed the public at a rally held in Mersin Nation’s Garden. During his speech, he promised support for producers whose greenhouses were damaged in the strong winds in the Anamur and Bozyazı districts of Mersin. Erdogan expressed his love for Mersin and said that the country is going to the ballot box with a thud. He also condemned the PKK and said that they will not leave the country to terrorists in the upcoming elections. He questioned the support of Kandil in the elections and said that this is not an election for someone to make Mr. Kemal president or to make the parties next to him happy. Erdogan also highlighted the values of Mersin and talked about the special place Mersin has in the country’s industry, trade, and agriculture. He promised to establish a Family and Youth Bank and to retire housewives, supporting families and young people with a certain percentage of what the government achieved in Mersin. Erdogan also discussed the public investments of 98 billion liras in Mersin in the last 21 years and the developmental projects done in the area.
