Expansion of Islamic Banking Experiment to Other Regions of Russia Orient
The upcoming KazanForum in May will focus on the expansion of the Islamic banking experiment to other regions in Russia. Currently, the experiment is taking place in Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Chechnya, and Dagestan, with financial products developed by domestic specialists certified by the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI).
Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan and Head of the Strategic Vision Group, emphasized the importance of developing cooperation with AAOIFI. He highlighted the significance of the international economic forum "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum" as the largest platform for discussing cooperation between Russia and Muslim states.
The XVI International Economic Forum "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum" is scheduled to take place in Kazan from May 13-18, 2025. Registration for the event is open through the link provided.
