Fail to Smuggle 2,800 Pneumatic Weapon Pellets by Car at Border
Customs officers at the Gisht-kuprik customs checkpoint in Uzbekistan made a disturbing discovery during a routine inspection of a man’s vehicle. Inside the trunk of the car, they found 16 packages containing a total of 2,800 pellets for pneumatic weapons with a caliber of 5.5 mm.
The incident was reported by the Customs Administration of Tashkent region, highlighting the importance of thorough inspections at border crossings. The munitions were not declared in the passenger’s customs declaration, which raised suspicions among the officers.
Currently, an investigation is underway to determine the intent behind the transportation of these pellets. It is crucial for authorities to uncover any potential threats to public safety and security.
