Fatal Car Accident: 1 Dead, 4 Injured as Vehicle Overturns Into Stockade
One Dead and Four Injured in Car Accident in Siirt-Bitlis Road
A tragic accident occurred on the Siirt-Bitlis Road, near the Yenice Police Station in Turkey. The incident involved a car carrying Bitlis residents who were on their way to Diyarbakir for a family wedding. The vehicle, driven by Flood Gevher, lost control and overturned into a stockade, resulting in injuries to all 5 passengers in the car.
Emergency response teams from Siirt and Bitlis quickly arrived at the scene to provide assistance. The injured individuals, including Ceren Gevher and the driver Taşkın Gevher, were promptly transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of medical personnel, Ceren Gevher succumbed to her injuries. Taşkın Gevher was transferred to Siirt Training and Research Hospital for further care, while Ceren’s body was sent to the hospital morgue for an autopsy.
An investigation into the cause of the accident has been initiated to determine the circumstances leading to this tragic event. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families during this difficult time.
