Fatal Crash: One Dead, One Injured after Colliding with Car and Tree
A tragic car accident occurred on Yeni Mahalle Antalya Street, resulting in the loss of one life and serious injuries to another individual. The incident took place when Ö.K. was driving towards the forest junction and collided with a car driven by HK. The impact caused HK’s vehicle to lose control, veer onto the median, and crash into a tree trunk.
Emergency services, including health, fire brigade, and police teams, were immediately summoned to the scene. Rescuers worked tirelessly for about an hour to free the trapped occupants from the wrecked vehicle. Sadly, Ö.K. succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while TFK was extracted with severe injuries and rushed to Beyşehir State Hospital for treatment. Due to the critical nature of TFK’s injuries, he was later transferred to Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Medicine Hospital.
The accident necessitated the closure of Antalya Street to traffic for a period of time, prompting the redirection of vehicles through alternative routes. It was later revealed that both victims involved in the incident were university students, adding to the tragedy of the situation. The community mourns the loss of Ö.K. and hopes for a speedy recovery for TFK as authorities investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
