“We tried to express our love and respect for our artist by distributing halva to approximately 1000 people. We offer our condolences to his fans and family. May his soul rest in peace,” Mercan stated. He also noted that the outpouring of support for Ferdi Tayfur on social media proved that the singer’s music resonated with people of all ages, from 7 to 70.
