Fettah Can Receives Awards in Greece on “Different Conversations”

Fettah Can Talks About His New Album “From My Friends”
Fettah Can made an appearance on NTV’s program “Completely Different Conversations” with Ceyda Düvenci. The singer talked about his new album called “From My Friends” and discussed the inspiration behind it.
The album, which is set to be released in January, is a collaborative project that features songs written by Fettah Can’s friends. He explained, “I have been giving songs to my friends for years. One day, while I was sitting backstage, we were having a conversation about designing a project, and something like this came to my mind. I said, ‘Well, I’ve never read anyone else’s songs before, let me take a song from my friends, let it be named after my friends, and not a piece of work whose lyrics and music I wrote.’”
The album includes songs from various artists such as Sezen Aksu, Ertuğ Ergin, Cansu, Kenan Doğulu, Sıla, Soner Sarıkabadayı, Sinan Akçıl, and Ersay Üner. Each song holds special significance as it was written by Fettah Can’s friends, making the album a unique and personal project.
In addition to discussing his new album, Fettah Can also shared that his songs have been translated into other languages and have received recognition abroad. He mentioned, “My name is in nearly 400 songs. For example, one of the best examples is Greece… We also received very good awards in Greece. It’s not talked about like this very often in Turkey. We publish our songs translated into other languages and receive awards.”
Fettah Can’s album “From My Friends” promises to be a heartfelt and meaningful collection, reflecting the strong bonds and creative collaborations he shares with his friends and fellow artists.
