“Fiery Crash on Kyrenia-Tatlısu Main Road”
Two vehicles collided on the Kyrenia-Tatlısu main road early on the morning of May 10th. The accident occurred between the 2nd and 3rd kilometers of the road when the ZUR 839 saloon, driven by Timur İLMAZ (E-33), lost control and veered to the right, crashing into the ZNY 352 saloon driven by Lu CHAO(E-), which was coming from the opposite direction. Both cars caught fire due to the impact but were eventually put out by firefighters. Unfortunately, both vehicles were completely burned and damaged. Timur İLMAZ, Dilfuza MARDONOVA (K-32), Lu CHAO, Zhi QU(E-48), and Junwen YE(E-36) were all involved in the accident and were injured. They were treated at Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Nicosia, and their recovery is still ongoing. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
