Foreign Ministry Condemns Attack on Turkish Fishermen.

A Turkish fishing boat named ‘Mahmutcan-1’ was fired upon in international waters by two ships belonging to the Syrian regime security forces. The incident, which occurred on 28 May, resulted in two of the Turkish fishermen being slightly injured and the boat suffering material damage. The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tanju Bilgic, condemned the attack, stating that his department would follow up on the incident, which is currently under investigation by the Samandağ Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
