Forum in Vienna Addresses Kyrgyzstan’s Energy Sector
The International Energy Investment Forum Kicks Off in Vienna
The International Energy Investment Forum has officially commenced in Vienna, Austria, as reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan. The forum began with a video message from President Sadyr Japarov, followed by a welcoming speech from Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov.
During the opening remarks, it was highlighted that the forum is not only significant for Kyrgyzstan but also for the entire Central Asian region. The main focus of discussions at the forum will revolve around the further implementation of a project of regional importance – the construction of Kambarata HPP-1.
Akylbek Japarov emphasized that the forum marks an important step towards sustainable development and sets the stage for a greener and more prosperous world. He expressed confidence that the forum will serve as a platform for the exchange of experiences, ideas, and strategic partnerships, leading to decisive joint actions.
The head of the Cabinet concluded by stating that the forum presents opportunities for successful projects and initiatives that aim to improve the quality of life and preserve the natural resources of the planet. The event has attracted representatives and management from over 200 international financial organizations, as well as delegations from Central Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and private investors.
