Four children miraculously survived Colombian plane crash after 40 days
Four children who were on a small plane that disappeared on May 1 in Colombia and whose wreckage was found on May 17, have been miraculously found alive. After an intense search by the military, the children’s location was finally determined in the forest under the Caqueta management document. The children, who were found by military personnel, were suffering from problems caused by “fluid loss” and “insect bites”, but they are now safe and receiving medical attention. In addition to the four children, an 11-month-old baby was also among the survivors. However, the bodies of four other people on the small plane were detected. The eldest of the siblings had set up a temporary shelter in the forest to keep his younger siblings alive, and search and rescue teams discovered shelters made of plants with the garbage of the fruits that children ate to survive. The children also used various aid materials that were thrown from the air to them to survive. Prayers were said and candles were lit for the children who disappeared after the plane crash, and the army was mobilized to find them.
