The industrial sector of Turkmenistan showed steady growth at the end of 2024, with significant achievements in natural gas and oil production. According to the latest data, natural gas production reached 77.6 billion cubic meters, while oil production stood at 8.2 million tons. Notably, the production of petroleum bitumen, gasoline, fuel oil, and diesel fuel also saw positive trends during this period.

In addition to the traditional oil and gas industries, Turkmenistan is experiencing growth in other sectors such as industrial goods, food products, and textiles. The production of vegetable products increased by 8.4%, cotton yarn by 46.7%, and cotton fabric by 27.1%. These developments reflect the successful implementation of the country’s economic diversification policy.

The results of 2024 underscore the effectiveness of state programs aimed at industrial and agricultural development. The positive growth in various product categories contributes to enhancing the country’s self-sufficiency, competitiveness, and the welfare of its population. Furthermore, 86 large production and social facilities were inaugurated across Turkmenistan last year.
