Gaza Under Siege: Devastation Comparable to Hiroshima’s Atomic Bomb

Gaza Under Bombardment: Equivalent to Hiroshima Atomic Bomb!
In the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, shocking reports have emerged regarding the intensity of the attacks on the Gaza Strip. According to recent information, Israel has been using an alarming amount of explosives, with over 12 thousand tons deployed since October 7th. This staggering amount is estimated to be equivalent to the power of an atomic bomb.
The devastating impact of these attacks cannot be understated. Figures released by the Palestinian government reveal the grim consequences of the relentless bombings. In just the last 24 hours, the number of civilian casualties in Gaza has risen to 5,791, with an additional 704 lives lost.
The sheer magnitude of explosives used in the Gaza Strip is mind-boggling. Israeli airstrikes have unleashed approximately 33 tons of explosives per square kilometer, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. Shockingly, this total amount of explosives is almost on par with the atomic bomb dropped by the United States on Hiroshima during World War II.
The consequences extend beyond the loss of life. The statement issued by the Palestinian government highlighted that more than 183 thousand houses, equivalent to half of all homes in Gaza, have been damaged. Of these, 28 thousand have been completely destroyed or rendered uninhabitable.
The toll on civilians, especially women and children, is devastating. The attacks have resulted in the deaths of 4,292 people from 644 families. To put it into perspective, one in every 100 individuals in the Gaza Strip has either been killed or injured due to Israeli aggression.
Not only have civilian infrastructure and residences been targeted, but places of worship have also faced destruction. The statement revealed that 35 mosques were completely destroyed, and 3 churches suffered significant damage.
Furthermore, internationally banned ammunition, including phosphorus bombs, has been utilized by Israel. The use of such weapons has resulted in horrifying injuries, including burns and melting of limbs.
The urgent need for aid in Gaza cannot be ignored. The statement emphasized the importance of keeping the Rafah Border Gate open, allowing the entry of aid and fuel, as well as enabling the injured to receive treatment outside of Gaza.
The humanitarian impact cannot be overstated. Over 1.4 million people, accounting for 70 percent of Gaza’s population, have been displaced. To accommodate them, 222 shelters have been established, with 100 located in Gaza City and the northern region.
As the eyes of the world remain fixed on Gaza, the international community must take immediate action to put an end to the bombardment. The scale of devastation and loss of innocent lives is reaching unprecedented levels. Urgent intervention is required to alleviate the suffering and find a lasting solution to this tragic conflict.
